SENIOR STAFF Gabriel F. Dambaugh, P.E. President and Principal Engineer Mr. Dambaugh holds two degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has been in the industry since 1988. His engineering career started on the manufacturing floor. He then gained 15+ years experience with precision machine component design, optimization, failure forensics and analysis with Finite Element Methods for the automotive and industrial sectors. While Gabe has worked with the variety of FEA technologies as listed on the services page, some of his unique specialties include using FEA with nonlinear and time-dependant mechanical systems. He has presented on the subject of fatigue assessment to the Finite Element community and developed a US patent for rolling bearing design optimization with FEA. Gabe has recently spent over 8 years consulting in the aerospace industry with NASA and Boeing on manned flight launch vehicle component analysis including nonlinear FEA with composite structures, buckling and post-buckling analysis with thin metals, and fracture.
